Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all!!! This year i got almost all of my shopping done way before i usually do! But my son was looking and moving his gifts and the one that i didn't want him to HEAR until x-mas morning talked to him!! I was so excited to hear the woody doll from toy story i had to take it away from him so he wouldn't rip off the wrapping. But at least i know he will love it when he opens it.

We also went to see santa about a week ago. I didn't know what he would think this year but i went very well. On the way up he was telling me that i would have to tell santa what he wanted but when we got there he went strait up to him! I was so excited to get a good pic of them.

We also have been outside a lot in the last few weeks with all the snow (i wish it would all go away) Owen loves to make snow angels but wants to make a snowman but haven't gotten that done yet.

So it has been almost a year since i made my last post and so much has happened with Owen. He is almost 4 and is very independent. He does have a naughty streak that yesterday he explained to me. I said that there are robots in his tummy that go really fast and make him be naughty. I had to laugh at that. He goes to play and learn one day a week and loves it he wants to go everyday i hope that he still feels the same in about ten years.

We are getting ready for Halloween and he is very excited but he changes his mind on what he wants to be. One minute he wants to be a woody from toy story and the next he wants to be a spider. But to bad for him he already has a costume.

I hope to post more in a few weeks when his birthday rolls around again.

My baby is 3!!!

So my baby turned 3 on November 8th and i can't believe it. It was a spiderman party because he loves spiderman. We had a great weekend for it and lots of people came to celebrate with us. I tried to make the cake myself and it turned out ok but it could of been so much better. He got some great presents from everyone and had lots of fun with the kids.I hope to have his 3 year pics done in the next month and send them out for Christmas cards but here are some from his party.

Another trip to the zoo

So this past weekend we went to the zoo again. This time we went with my friend Courtney and her son Bergen. Bergen and Owen are about 6 weeks apart (Bergen is older). We don't get together as much as we would like to but when we do it is very fun.



As the boys are getting older it is getting a lot more fun. Just to watch them have there own little conversations is very fun. We had a dvd player and they watched a movie on the way up to the zoo and the weather was great when we got there.



The boys loved the animals and running around. Owen had a few little melt downs but all in all he was a good boy. I think there favorite part was riding the monorail and seeing all of the animals from the train.


By the time we got to the car Owen was already asleep in the stroller and it didn't take Bergen to long to fall asleep in the care. I was a very nice and quiet ride home. Very different from our very loud ride to the zoo with them.

funny little boy

Lately Owen has been saying some pretty funny stuff to me and I have no idea where he gets it.

The other day we were walking down to the store and of course he thinks he is dash from the incredibles so he is running. He turns around and wants me to run to so i start jogging. Then he turns to me and says "mommy i run like dash, you run like a girl" i had to laugh.

Another cute thing he said to me was when we just about to leave for the day and he looks at himself and then to me and says "I look good, I look really good."

Then tonight when i was getting supper done grandpa comes in and turns off his cartoons and turns on football and of course this upsets my 2 yr old. So he is crying while i was getting his mac and cheese ready. I say to him do you want some mac and cheese and he looks at me with tears running down his face and says "i can't eat mac and cheese i am crying." I thought that was cute.

It's been a while since I last posted something so I thought that i would. Owen is becoming such a little man and he is so funny. this morning when i was trying to wake him up he was so cute. I cuddled up next to him and was trying to wake him up and he would cover his head. Finally i got him to look at me and he said "just one more minute mom, I will get up in one minute". Lately everything i ask him to do i get the same answer "in one minute mom". I must of said that to him to many times.

If you can't tell in the picture that he likes to dress himself now to and sometimes the cloths go on backwards. Its a fight to get them on the right way after that to cause he is so proud that he did it all by himself.

Fun at the Minnesota Zoo

I have been wanting to take Owen to the zoo for a long time and have either never had time or i had no one to go with. So when Jeremy said that he had a sat night off i asked if he would want to go. He hasn't been to the zoo in over ten years so he said he would go.

We had so much fun looking at all of the animals. Owen loved the fish and the sharks. Jeremy loved the big bear and how close it was to us.

It was the perfect day to go as well cause it was kind of overcast and not very hot so there wasn't a ton of people there. We ended up spending most of the day at the zoo and had a blast. I even got a year membership so we could go more. the only thing that we wanted to do was take Owen to a I-MAX movie but by the time we got around to it all that was playing was Transformers and even though that was a good movie i don't think Owen would of liked it.

The whole day was a lot of fun and made us all tired especially Owen.
